You don't need to be a registered user to read the messages, but if you want to take part and post messages you first have to Register by selecting that option on the top right hand side of the Message Board.
Finally, remember NEVER to give out any personal information on Message Boards. Make sure you do not post where you live, where you go to school, your phone number or any other personal details.
