In March 2009 the British Library will open an exhibition on the history of children’s poetry called ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat: 250 Years of Poetry for Children’. There will be a two-day conference on 20 & 21 April and a teachers’ day on 12 May accompanying the exhibition. For more information, visit www.educ.cam.ac.uk.
Here's a programme (45 mins) I did on literacy, phonics and reading ‘real’ books for Teacher's TV. There are more videos of me on Teacher's TV in the For Adults Video section of this site.
