Some people reading this may have read about Eddie when he was a little boy. He turns up in Quick Let's Get Out Of Here and You Wait Till I'm Older Than You. Well, now he turns up in The Sad Book. I think Quentin Blake's pictures are absolutely amazing and wonderful and I'm a lucky person to have worked with someone who could imagine what's in my mind. I hope that it'll be a book that anyone who's been sad about anything at all will help them find out what they're thinking about and why they're thinking it.
