The bemused citizens of the United Kingdom thought that now perhaps the activities of the UK government would settle down to become a boring docudrama. But very quickly it became clear that the play at Westminster was going to become ever more farcical. And that Boris Johnson was going to stick around, hoping for an encore. Almost a year later he is still hopeful!
