What Would You Say to a Bumble Bee?
Hey old Bumblebee!
No need to bumble about.
You know the way you came in?
That’s the way to go out.
What would you say to a bumble bee, or any bee? Or a wasp? Or an ant? Or a worm?
Have you ever been stung by a wasp? You could imagine yourself back to that moment, and you could write a little poem of what you want to say to that wasp just after it’s stung you!
You can make it rhyme if you like, just as I did in this little poem.
Or you could make it like a speech that you’re giving to an insect, or several insects, or maybe to your pet. What would you like to say to your pet?
Are you going to be helpful?
Or are you cross?
Or maybe you’re going to tell it some news?
What news would that be?

Beeeautiful! There is science behind talking directly to Bees and Wasps: they use vibration for a large part of their communication. Our own voices are sound vibrations. Thank you Michael Rosen, your eloquence is most excellent! :+) *
